Those of you who know me, will probably know that I spend a lot of time listening to music. As I suck at explaining what music sounds like and the internet has recently been extended with multimedia facilities, I thought I’d occasionally post links to music I’m listening to, without much of an explanation. As a rule of thumb, I’ll post links to a band’s MySpace page (I hate NewsCorp, but this one cannot be avoided), their website if it is not the MySpace page, some tracks from Project Playlist (because they can be embedded) and possibly some YouTube videos.
The first entry is Underground Railroad. They have been my favourite band for almost a week now, so they must be really great. I heard about them because they are currently supporting Cold War Kids on tour. Find some tracks and videos below. If you want to know why I really love them, visit their MySpace page and listen to ‘lots of cars’. And damn you MySpace, for not letting me embed the music player!

Thank you very much, my ears are bleeding now.
That tends to happen if you spend a lot of time listening to bland, American electro-pop: your ears get weak. Try building up some resistance to music by listening to some Dutch pop; just as bland, but the G-sounds train your eardrums.
